Job Title: Head - Settlements & Reconciliation

Position : On Contract ( Fixed Term Contract)

Contract Duration : 6 Months

Location : Mumbai

Department: Operations

Reports to: Head Operations

Minimum qualifications

Education: MBA or equivalent from a top tier institute

Experience: 10+ years (seasoned retired / Freelancer can also apply)

Position Summary:

- Create, implement and manage error free transaction reporting and reconciliation consumer and merchant customers

- Generate standard reporting to analyse business performance

Role Description:

- Lead the day-to-day oversight of the cash reconciliation and cash settlement operations for consumers and merchants

- Respond to queries and handle requests from banks and other entities on a daily basis.

- Prepare routine reports to reconcile the consumer and merchant transactions with banks, agents and merchants

- Take ownership and respond to transaction issues and other escalations from the consumer and merchant support teams.

- Create systems and processes to keep track and flag-up inconsistencies in collections, from the settlement reports of on a daily basis.

- Handle rejected transactions, and remedy according to the reasons of reject.

Supervisory responsibilities:

- The Head Settlement and Reconciliation will oversee settlement and reconciliation teams from within the organization and managing the relationships with third party organization providing service
