Summary:  Division : Information Technology  Sub- Department : IT - Salesforce  Job Title : Head/Senior Manager- IT Salesforce  Reports to : Director - IT Applications  Span of Control : Upto 5 DRs + a team of 20 members  Job Purpose:   - Help define standards and practices in Salesforce NOE and execute deliveries to a plan that the role will help create in agreement with global stakeholders.  - Be an evangelist for the continued development and implementation of business solutions built on the Force.com platform.   - Mentor junior members of the team in best practices for design, development and testing.   - Work with a globally growing insurance business willing to adopt new technologies to compliment the business development/sales proposition  Principle Accountabilities:  Product Management:  - Maintain product backlog & roadmap to finalize business needs of all stakeholders and get a sign off on the same.  - Work with the regional stakeholders to help identify requirements that will add (measurable) business value. Provide guidance and support to the CRM Solutions Architect, Business Analyst and CRM Business Lead.  - Work with software suppliers to understand advancements made in the software and have an awareness of how this could be applied in the business.  Project Management:  - Plan, design, manage and monitor projects throughout its lifecycle to ensure successful completion of objectives to client's satisfaction.  - Work with Country Implementation Leads in the delivery of this plan. Have an awareness of local business change requirements  People Management:  - Be a team leader as well as being an active member of the team  - Ensure a right sized team availability in terms of headcount, skills, relevant knowledge and experience. Raise resource requests as required.  - Manage performance of the team by setting standards for performance and motivating team to achieve beyond these standards  - Have a view and information on the skills and knowledge gaps of team and plan for training, cross skilling and up skilling of all team members for current and future needs  Quality Management:  - Responsible to ensure create and adherence to quality frameworks set up for successful project implementations  - Be active in investigating new ways to improve quality across the application stack.  Stakeholder Management:  - Build a rapport with stakeholders to ensure transparency and regular flow of information for better client deliveries  - Understand process and project deficiencies in the larger business context (could be outside the scope of project) and recommend and help implement suitable changes  - Build and manage effective client relationship to foster our client's credibility and ensure we are in a position to influence decisions  - Be the active evangelist for Salesforce.com and promote the software, globally  Education:   Essential: BE and MBA  Work Qualifications:  Essential: Salesforce certification   Desirable: PMP, Agile Scrum Practitioner  Experience:  Essential:   - 10 - 14 + years of experience in tier 1 or 2 IT services companies or Tier 1 captives with up to 8 years in managing Salesforce implementations and Force.com development   - Should have done global roll outs of Salesforce.com in financial services organization. Should have experience of managing off-shore teams  Desirable: Has worked with integrated systems across a global scale.
