Core Responsibilities:
Search Engine Optimization:
This role is also responsible for increasing visibility in the natural search results of internet search engines, primarily Google.
- Own SEO targets and drive execution of projects that enable meeting and exceeding these targets
- The individual will be expected to work closely with Product, Technology and Content teams to identify opportunities, drive ‘optimization’ thinking, validate hypotheses through A/B testing and coordinate execution
- Stay up-to-date on the landscape and think ahead on sustained relevance of our SEO strategies
- Employ deep analytical skills where required to monitor performance and uncover opportunities
Job Requirements:
- The ideal candidate should be highly motivated with a demonstrated track record of strong academic and professional performance.
- The position requires someone who is very proficient with Internet Marketing [SEM & SEO] best practices, is a strong communicator and influencer, possesses superior analytical skills and is comfortable working across teams in a fast-paced global environment.
- 7+ years of professional experience, incl. at least 5 years of Internet Marketing [and SEO] experience with a proven track record in developing and executing marketing campaigns at different scale
- Intimate understanding of key internet marketing metrics [CPC, CTR, Conversion Rate, etc.], SEM variables [Quality Score, PageRank, etc.] and Performance measures [esp. Lead-Gen and On-Site Conversions] and the ability to recognize how they might impact campaigns and business
- Marketing technology savvy and comfortable using Paid Search management tools [Adwords, AdCenter, SEM tools providers]
- Skill in identifying and executing against different campaign optimization strategies and techniques
- Strong project management skills, ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize based on judgment
- Expert proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Microsoft Access and SQL a plus
- Superior oral and written communication skills, incl. comfort presenting to senior executives
- Strong analytical skills and ability to extract actionable insight from large quantity of data
- Fun, energetic and collaborative personality with self-starter approach to work
Education:
- Master’s degree or equivalent in math, economics, engineering, or related discipline preferred
