Detailed Description :
To Head SCM Delivery (primarily back office)

Minimum Experience : 15 + Years of Experience
Roles & Responsibilities :
As a delivery head, responsible for :
- Process performance on SLAs / Scorecards / KPIs
- Drive Process Improvements through Kaizen, Six Sigma projects and by imparting domain knowledge to the teams.
- Meet and exceed stated Project Revenue & Margins, identifying and driving margin improvement initiatives
- Customer Satisfaction / Employee Satisfaction
- Working to grow the existing business penetration (EN business), Take strategic decisions in this regard
- Addressing all customer escalations and represent the Management in all key client governance forums such as MBR / QBR- s, etc.
In addition, as a supply chain domain expert, he/she will also need to
- Participate and contribute actively for new client RFI/RFP's.
- Providing strategic direction to solutions for new opportunities under SCM
- Review and approve Standard Operating Procedures, Account Maps, Process Manuals, etc.
- Provide all domain expertise related inputs and support on new deals being pursued in SCM area
Skill sets required :
Necessary Skill sets :
- Deep domain expertise in Supply Chain - especially around sourcing & procurement, order management and data management. Material management, Logistics, Vendor development and Project management
- Excellent inter personal and people management skills, with an ability to lead the team from the front; should have handled large teams (500+ FTEs)
- Good understanding (preferably hands -on work experience) in ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, JDE etc., and sourcing tools (e.g., Ariba Sourcing tool)
- Good Analytical Skills; Expertise in analysing and coordinating supply chain data and reports
- Excellent Communications skills, both verbal and Non-Verbal
Desired Skill Sets / Preferred Attributes :
- Good knowledge of Quality Principles and Six Sigma certification.
- Should have transitioned at least two to three SCM projects
Educational Qualifications :
- Master's Degree from Reputed University
- Any SCM/Financial/Logistics qualification would be a big plus.
Experience :
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in SCM domain - as detailed above
- SCM Experience in the BPO industry would be preferred
Type of Process (Voice/Chat/Email/Data Entry): Most of the engagements rolling under this resource would be non-voice, though there are few cases of voice support as well.
