The Role:  It is deployed at banks & airlines as SAAS product  a) Primary: To evangelize and sell to the top 15 banks in India:  - By leveraging your existing relationships (& building new ones) with key decision makers-CMO, Analytics head, Cards business head, Retail banking head, and others charged with deploying innovative solutions  - Position Maya as a must-have, aspirational product that is gaining rapid global acceptance among large banks.  - Navigate deftly and quickly through all stakeholders inside the bank, including influential internal teams (IT, data security, data privacy, legal, procurement) as well as key external IT Services partners (especially those engaged in deploying CEM, CRM, or digital transformation solutions)  - Have an ability to close out required documentation to ensure client contract closure;  - Meet client acquisition targets for the year  b) Very secondary: Sell to very-few, well-qualified prospects in travel and hospitality. Such prospects are likely to be in low single digits.  c) Team work:   - Work closely with the marketing & inside sales teams in Chennai to create appropriate - pull- for the product, and get support in generating sales leads.  - And with Client Engagement & Delivery teams that get involved as the sales funnel becomes narrower.  The Candidate:  Must-have requirements:  a) 7-10 years experience in selling tech/digital products or services to top banks in India. Should ideally have sold to marketing and/or analytics and/or business teams, and not just to IT teams. (such candidates likely to be those who have sold solutions/products in the realm of CRM, digital, etc)  b) Proven track-record of being able to evangelize an innovative offering, as opposed to transactional selling of a relatively-standard product  c) Ability to work in a start-up environment characterised by rapid changes and constant flux  d) Comfortable being a multi-faceted superman, and not supported by large corporate bureaucracy  e) Good communication skills  Good-to-have requirements:  a) Past experience selling specifically to retail banking teams  b) Having sold CEM, CRM, or digital transformation solutions
