The incumbent is expected to represent the company in top-level discussions with distribution representatives.   Job Description:   The incumbent is responsible to :   - Drive channel profitability through efficient deployment of budget and portfolio management Design and execution of Sales Strategy in- line with the organizational growth aspiration: Route to Market, Infrastructure and Capability development Talent management: Acquisition, Development and Engagement.   - Supervise the entire sales team, develop talents and create career opportunities for them.   - Will be responsible for Managing modern trade team sales marketing, establishing modern trade division and implementing strategy with in cost limits  - Provide a first class service to both potential and existing customers.   - Managing the work of Modern trade managers  - Dealing with buyers, store managers and regional managers of major retail chains. Spearheading the business operations for the channel Relationship management with the relevant industry channel partners Net sales, Distribution and Share of market.  - Identifying and cultivating new prospects.  - Constructing budgets and timelines.  - Working closely with the Modern trade customers in respect of TOT  - Maintaining tight budget control over expenditure.  - Forecasting and tracking key account metrics  - Identifying and assessing a clients critical needs  - Closely liaising with the marketing team about campaigns.  - Monitoring the effectiveness of any marketing campaigns  Desired profile:   The Successful Applicant:  - Total 13 - 23 years Sales experience out of which minimum 6 years in retail FMCG Sales environment.
