Its a leadership role reports into the CEO and carries responsibility for P&L, revenue, market share, and marketing of products across different sales channels, marketing, product management and sales organizations.  - The role is responsible to deliver growth and budgeted top / bottom lines across all product categories.  - The role will plan and execute the market / segment penetration and also plan out product categories, features and price points needed for the future.  - Understanding of retail practices in India - including the ability to "walk the street"  - Understanding of network penetration, network mapping  - Understanding of financial value chains and profit drivers  - Understanding of channels in India  - Understanding of the new E Commerce and web based channels  - Good verbal and written skills - including the ability to explain proposals / strategies in concise / clear form  - Must demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills  - The role entails travel for ~15 days a month  - Must be a well read (newspaper, business magazines etc) person - who is connected to what is happening across sectors  - Must be able to take along people - and work with people of various age group.  - Must be able to handle / function in an environment with a multiple matrixed working - where the conventional / sub-ordinate - superior relationships don-t always work  - Must be able to demonstrate ability by doing a lot of things personally - and lead from the front  -Must resolve customer's issues promptly.
