About our Client - Our client is a large MNC Financial Services firm with significant growth plans for the India region. They are embarking on the next stage of the development of their Captive Centre in Chennai. As part of their growth, they are looking to hire a senior analytics professional at VP/Director level as part of their risk modeling team supporting retail and commercial portfolio for global geographies. They are looking for a highly talented and innovative professional with to grow and lead their team based in Chennai.

Job Description:

- As part of Risk Modeling team, you would be working on model building and governance as per global regulatory guidelines (Basel, ICAAP etc.) for retail and commercial banking portfolio for US, UK and other global geographies.

- You would evaluate performance of existing and new models for risk analytics working closely with model validation team and would be responsible for managing a team of 20+ professionals and grow it 90-100 professionals.

- You would be supporting global business stakeholders to develop cutting edge solutions and help organization stay ahead of the competition offerings.

The Successful Candidate:

- You should hold a Masters Degree in Economics, Mathematics or Statistics from DSE/ISI/IIT or MBA from a premier institute in India or abroad.

- You should have over 15 Years of relevant experience working in risk analytics in modeling for retail and commercial portfolio.

- Strong exposure to Analytics tools and frameworks like SAS, SQL etc. with proven track record of managing and growing a team.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
