Job Title : Head of Risk- Risk Management & Credit Control

Location : Mumbai

Pay : 25- 30 LACS INR

Job Description : Risk Management

Policy &Process :

- Design and Formulates Risk policy & processes.

- Review the portfolio performance and implement the changes in policy and process basis triggers & trends on a periodical basis.

- Building a profitable portfolio by ensuring a robust credit filtering process in line with market dynamics, leading a team of managers (credit & collections), monitoring of portfolio (through various indicators such as delinquency trends, nonstarters, analysis of various profiles, early warning signals, entire collections process, analysis, review, recovery piece).

- Responsible for championing process improvements and digital initiatives by liaising with various vendors and evaluating their proposals and obtaining approvals from the senior management.

Risk :

- Responsible to inculcate a risk culture across the business line by highlighting credit and other risks and mitigation actions.

- Responsible for launching Test programs and new product programs and ensuring monitoring the success parameters as laid down.

- Analyzes potential risks and initiates preventive measures for overcoming the same.

- Works with Business owners for modeling risk parameters for internal customer credit scoring and differential pricing for products.

- Ensures Customer satisfaction through TAT and adequate rejection rate, new customer acquisition and repeat customer management, proposing solutions for innovative / aggressive products while maintaining required risk profile, (new products, new geographies, new customer segments)

- Develop continuous monitoring and improvement of the quality of the organization's credit and lending portfolio through credit policy direction and implementation

- Provide regular review and analysis of portfolio trends to detect deterioration in portfolio quality. This includes the monitoring and control of the credit portfolio by ensuring that all credit exposure is properly approved, reported and reviewed.

- Prepares concentration reports and such other reports deemed necessary to convey loan and portfolio and third-party relationship risks to management and the Board.

- Develops analytical processes and procedures to identify risks and opportunities in the origination stream and portfolio.

- Ensures risk and return objectives are clearly communicated to accountable business managers

- Ensures supporting documentation is maintained in compliance with Pricing and Credit Risk Committee requirements.

Underwriting :

- Responsible for underwriting all high value and policy related case appraisals for all the products lines.

- Builds a robust process improvement, creates an underwriting expertise across products and geographies.

- Ensures smooth management of the credit decision system of the company - design, improvement, growth (as new branches are opened), implementation, monitoring. Steer credit policies and processes to match risk / return profile as defined by top management. Build / maintain appropriate controls over the disbursal process. Control over logical customer database files for the purpose of cross-selling, collection and audits.

- Monitors key MIS on business performance and evaluate existing processes in light of regulatory and compliance requirements on an ongoing basis.

- Decisions proposal within the delegated authority framework and recommends cases to the committees for decisions as appropriate.

Team Management :

- Manages a team which ensures regular portfolio review and publishing various MIS for the portfolio and also conduct training on policies and process changes as and when the same is circulated.
