Role : Head - Quality (Reports to: BU Head)

Location : Chennai

Age : Less than 40 Years

Experience : Minimum 14 - 18 years of experience

Education : A Bachelor's degree. Knowledge of Hindi, English and Tamil.

- Knowledge of latest Quality Standards in Telecom industry (TL 9000) and Lean concept.

Industry : Telecom/IT

Travel : Willingness to travel pan India on official work mandatory

Responsibilities :

- Create and implement best practice quality vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve business performance

- Ensure that quality strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs

- Ensure all personnel are properly trained to perform QA/QC work, serve as mentor and manager to team of QA/QC technicians.

- Develop project quality assurance plan and execute project quality management activities

- Ensure effective internal and external audits happen and monitor and evaluate subcontractor implementation quality

- Supervise and lead a team of QA/QC technicians to ensure timeliness, completeness, and accuracy of field work during the construction and implementation of projects

- Report on Quality activities on a regular basis to the Senior Management team, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of the relevant Key Performance Indicators

- Collaborate and coordinate with other managers to ensure project is running smoothly and without disruption

- Overall responsibility for Quality activities across the Business Unit
