They- re looking at expanding operations in India and hence are currently looking to recruit a National Quality Head, based out of their production/assembly plant in Pune.  Job Description  Reporting into the Plant Head and the APAC Quality Head, your key responsibilities will include:  - Managing processes and people to achieve quality compliance of the highest standard  - Foreseeing quality related issues in products/processes and taking timely predictive actions  - Focusing on Quality assurance while maintaining Quality Control throughout  - Adhering to Lean/6 sigma based foundation of the assembly/manufacturing processes  - Interacting with customers pro actively for feedback, and implementing them to guarantee utmost customer satisfaction  - Liaising with global stakeholders on budgets, timelines, processes etc.  - Traveling Bi-Annually to other Steelcase APAC Locations for official visits  The Successful Applicant  You will be an Engineer with at least 8 years of work experience in handling Quality Control as well as Quality Assurance responsibilities, in the Automobile/Pharma/Furniture Industry. Moreover, you should have an exposure into Lean Management and 6 Sigma Processes, along with an experience of working with and handling a team.
