The incumbent would be responsible for the following:  1. QA activities compliance for Manufacturing Process  - Studying, analyzing and benchmarking Quality requirements for existing and new products to meet global standards  - Developing reliable Quality Systems to ensure QAP compliance & vigilance at all stages of manufacturing  - Addressing internal/external customer complaints & deviations through CAPA procedure  - Supporting business development efforts through effective QAP implementation  - Establishing & maintaining functional MIS capturing data on quality parameters for subsequent analysis and ensuring traceability  2. IMS Compliance and Certifications  - Representing division as MR & ensuring compliance of all activities required for IMS certifications   - Ensuring successful closures of IMS internal, external & customer audits  - Maintaining effectiveness of IMS (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001) and Quality Systems in QA/QC  - Providing IMS related training to divisional employees  - Driving Kaizen identification through IMS processes & ensuring IMS supports throughput  - Identifying and addressing CAPA to SOP cases through IMS  3. QA Compliance for all Raw Materials and Bought Out items  - Guiding the suppliers for selection of inspection procedures and methodologies from their available resources and conforming to our QS  - Strengthening process for supplier audits  - Setting up of Quality Systems at suppliers- end in line with business requirements & ensuring QAP stages executions  - Ensuring vendor evaluation and development for meeting throughput needs/MTO requirements  - Monitoring regular order placement checklist modification to get desired quality output meeting market QS  - Providing training to divisional & supplier QA teams for ensuring QAP compliance  4. Driving Business Excellence Initiative  - Spearheading activities in the division for CII Business Excellence journey including position report preparation, coordination for CII assessment & identifying/reviewing action plans for effectively closing OFIs   - Providing BE awareness training to divisional employees  5. People development and people retention  - Identifying of training needs/using competency mapping matrix/skill matrix  - Identifying & developing internal trainers  - Imparting training as & when required  - Collaborating with HR department for talent pipeline building and ensuring workmen alignment with company values  - Ensuring 100% team involvement in Kaizen initiative  - Building capability of team members and ensuring people retention at 95% for talent and 90% overall  6. Environment and safety   - Ensuring industrial safety, health & environment  - Maintaining 100% safe work environment and ensuring safe practices are followed  - Effectively monitoring lead indicators, HIRA & aspect/impact reports for promoting safety at work place  Requisite Qualifications:  Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Production/Automobile)   Requisite Experience:  15-20 years of relevant total work experience out of which 10 years in Material handling/Automobile/Heavy Engineering/Earth Moving industry   Special Skills required:  1.
