Direct reportees : Assistant VPs / DGMs / Press In Charges

Person description :

Age : Between 45 and 48 years

Qualification : Essential Engineering Graduate, Preferable :MBA-General Management from a reputed institute

Work Experience : Around 20 to 23 years of work experience in a reputed manufacturing /print media houses and would have headed the production function

Other credentials : Excellent project management skill is essential

Key Competencies : Strong technical skills, preferably press and prepress skills with the ability lead the technocrats. Good communication skills Excellent Leadership & interpersonal skills Highly analytical personality, problem solving. Planning, organizing and Information management

Job Description :

Primary Job Responsibilities

- Responsible and Accountable for the planning, scheduling, strategizing and oversee overall production department activities. (Pre-Press activities, press and post press activities)

- Accountable for project planning and execution of the project within the time frame

- Innovate new ways of effectively utilizing the production infrastructure and come out with new projects.

- Proactively sense out problems and solve them effectively.

- Plan, evolve and implement procedures and systems to maximize operating efficiency, establish and maintain controls

- Ensure smooth functioning of presses PAN India

- Motivating the workforce to excel in their deliverables

- Evolving Key Result Area for each job holder and execution of Performance Management System

- Effective Management of Industrial relations

- Ensuring maintenance of quality as per the standards

- Responsible for preparing and monitoring the production budget

- Researches new products and methods to improve the product and reduce costs

- Effective vendor management and interact effectively from Expats

- Ensure employee discipline all the times

- Comply with safety requirements

- Evaluate production equipment purchases/leases and conduct cost/benefit analyses

KRA's:

- Planning and Execution of time delivery of our printed publications across locations including the new publications

- Cost effective inventory management of critical spares across production functions

- Maintain a positive attitude and ensure that all employees in Production Department are aligned with the company goals.

- Maximize efficiency and profitability.

Note : Looking for candidate with current CTC - 28 Lpa & above.
