Head Product Management
Product Excellence:
- Understand the goals of the organisation, customer needs and evolving digital payments market demands to conceptualise products which align to the organization’s vision and competitively position the organization products
- Direct and advise Product Management teams in their responsibilities to design, plan and improve products which meet customer, merchant, risk, compliance and regulatory expectations.
- Advise the Central Leadership Team on current performance, opportunities and challenges in the product portfolio
- Collaborate with the Technology department on product specifications and project prioritization to meet market demands
- Collaborate with parent organization to gain support and insight required to design and deliver the organization products as part of the organization product lines
- Ensure user experience resources deliver on the expectations of customers, merchants and Product Managers
- Drive mobile channel forecasting, budget assessments, KPI reporting and respective communications across business
- Apply deep understanding of digital customers and segments along with their expectations and behaviours to optimize experiences
- Formulate strategies to identify, evolve needs, establish processes to ensure unique product channels are integrated;
- Evaluate market research, customer feedback and industry trends to continuously identify opportunities for evolving and refining the organization offerings and strategies
Leadership:
- Lead and grow the development of a new department and/or organization through both product domain leadership and organization leadership
- Own and drive business growth through products that strategically cater to the needs of various customer and merchant segments
- Participate as part of the executive leadership team working across the enterprise on corporate priorities and initiatives
- Establish relationships a matrix organization: across various stakeholders.
- Establish and implement standards of performance, policies and procedures and make policy changes as necessary
- Strategically lead budgeting and resource planning for the Product Management department in collaboration with the Central Leadership team and the Finance team
- Continually monitor and improve the overall performance of the Product Management department
- Play a significant role in long-term planning and product pipeline, with the view to delivering operational excellence
