Role :
- This position will be responsible for drive product development like new business development - right from vendor selection to prototype development to commercial feasibility study to category benchmarking and analysis.
- The incumbent should be well versed with the Non - Food Category requirement, should be observant of the new product launches in the market.

- Complete market benchmarking to arrive at product/concept understanding

- On time project management
New Product/Business development :
- Identify new products/categories in Consumer Durable / Stationery / Furniture / Office Electronic, Equipment by market evaluation, category analysis, etc. for entry of private brands.
- Preparation of complete business proposal around the product (s) which will include current external & internal market sizes, vendor status, first cut techno-commercial feasibility study of the product and process, suggested packaging, investment required in packaging, quality benchmarking, etc.
- Identification & evaluation of vendors for prototype development
- Prototype development, evaluation and sensory benchmarking with internal and external panels
- Coordination with external labs for complete quality profiling
- Factory certification, initial production planning and roll out of commercial product
