Client Details :

Our client is an infrastructure company with a strong presence across the country. They are recognized as the pioneers in the segment they operate in. Currently, they are looking to recruit a Head of Procurement, based out of their office in Delhi NCR

Description :

Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain you will be responsible for :

- Formulating sourcing strategies for direct and indirect categories and devise strategies for sourcing the products locally.

- Procurement of electrical and mechanical commodities with spend of around 1000+ Cr annually

- Managing a team of 4-5 professionals with responsibility for their growth and development in the organisation

- Working closely with all the functions to ensure the smooth flow of operations

- Driving strategic projects alongside the procurement role and be accountable for them

Profile :

You will be an MBA(2004-07 graduate) else a postgraduate with around 15 years of experience in sourcing and procurement ideally from the automobile, infrastructure or heavy engineering and manufacturing industry. The client is looking for someone with excellent leadership and negotiation skills and hands on approach towards his/her work.
