Head Process Maintenance -A MNC Pharma Company(Injectables Only Applicable)

Job purpose:

The head of process maintenance is responsible for providing an efficient professional, compliant and performance-oriented technical service for all the process equipment of the insulin plant, MRP.

This plant is operating the most state of the art technology of insulin manufacturing

Technical:

Lead the site engineering/maintenance of all process equipment

Develop technical collaboration with multiple critical process equipment vendors (Domestic and Global)

Ensure compliance to Regulatory/GMP requirements from engineering & maintenance perspective

Provide leadership to the team of engineers to ensure timely technical resolutions in line with agreed procedures

Ensure timely decisions and assist resolving complex problems by effective coordination among site engineering/maintenance, Quality and operations as per site needs.

Ensure timely approvals of all necessary regulatory & GMP documents.

Develop preventative maintenance SOPs & PM Plans of all process equipment & ensure adherence to PM schedules & SOP training in timely manner,Networking with other site engineering & maintenance functions

Support improvement of OEE

Manage shift support to operations

Manage essential spares of all process equipment & coordinate with procurement and engg. WH

Manage maintenance contracts with OEMs as appropriate

Prepare budget & ensure adherence

HSE (Safety):

Collaborate with site & Global HSE and ensure all safety and environmental guidelines are adhered.

Support to maintain site specific safety goals, PASS and expectations

People Management:

Lead a team of engineers and technicians, provide an efficient and people oriented support to develop the teams and each individual.

Ensure good and efficient relations between all department to optimize plant efficiency

Review & ensure timely resources as per demands of engineering & Maintenance like mechanical technicians & Instrumentation technicians

Develop process domain expertise among team of engineers

Energy Conservation:

Collaborate with site & Global Energy team and ensure applicable guidelines.

Review & evaluate Industry Benchmarks & Best Practices that are applicable to the engg. & Maintenance.

Practice as per site specific goals.
