Silverpeople is retained by a business conglomerate to recruit Planning Head for its Ecommerce venture. We are looking for dynamic and young professionals with relevant experience in ecommerce and retail with passion for planning and are analytics driven.  - Job Purpose: To lead the planning of inventory / inwards / best sellers etc for all merchandize with the objective of driving suitable Revenue growth, sell through and profitability   Principal Accountabilities:  - To monitor and control inventory intake and sales analysis of the whole business.  - To recommend buying basis OTB/ Sales projections scheduling of inwards  - To develop view on the profitability and margins and hence make recommendations of the margin enhancement  Core Skills :   - Strong analytical skills; ability to run large/ complex spreadsheets  - Familiarity with Supply Chain planning processes in Apparel/ Fashion space  - Forecasting and inventory planning, in particular, are core skills  - Strong commercial acumen to understand the merchandising tradeoffs.  - Building and managing a team of junior planners   Qualifications :   - Prior experience in Supply Chain/ Planning function in apparel/ fashion space  - MBA / NIFT graduate   - 6+ years of experience with at least 2 years experience in e-commerce.
