Head - Partnerships - International NGO (10-18 yrs)

Position Overview:

This role is with an International NGO that is focused around rural healthcare. They are rapidly growing in India and this will be a great opportunity to grow with the team. We are an HR Consulting and Search firm called Growth360 and we are retained by this NGO for hiring this talent.

The key role would be to research and identify potential partnership, advocacy and networking opportunities to build the ecosystem for the projects undertaken by the organization to succeed and scale up. It requires someone with excellent connections in the CXO community as well as with the government. And someone who has worked on large and strategic partnerships. Some healthcare experience is a must.

Specific Responsibilities:

- Researching and identifying potential partnership, advocacy and networking opportunities to build the ecosystem for the projects undertaken by the organization to succeed and scale up

- Developing and operationalizing a strategy to leverage the ecosystem for the projects undertaken by the organization to succeed and scale up

- Writing customized concept notes, partnership ideas and proposals, and ensuring their timely submission

- The candidate should have the ability to quickly understand the projects undertaken by the organization and adapt/ customize the same to the potential partners- mandate

- Undertaking online research and building contacts with government and private healthcare providers, senior government advocates, officials and policy makers; corporate, PSUs and their CSRs industry forums, councils and alliances; development sector organizations

- R&D and healthcare research institutions; existing and potential funders and donors media to forge partnerships for the various projects of the organization

- Identifying key persons from the above organizations and reaching out to them through various communication channels;

- Managing relationships with existing partners, responding to their requests and keeping them updated about the work of the organization, organizing meetings at a regular periodicity;

- Setting-up and leading the partnership and advocacy function with clear and defined goals; monitoring and tracking performance on a monthly basis; providing performance updates to the CEO;

- Presenting business plans and yearly updates to the Board Members;

- Engaging and coordinating with other functions namely Programmes, Communications, Research, Resource Mobilization to address overall organizational needs efficiently and effectively;

- Tracking business development efforts, ensuring intensive and personal follow-up of all warm and cold leads till conversion;

- Representing firm at forums and networks with sector/ non-sectoral representatives for greater outreach.

This will report to the CEO and will work with Functional Heads, Founder Donors and Board Members.
