Job Title/ Designation Head - Organized Retail Knowledge Banking

Job Purpose

Acquisition of New-to-Bank relationships, deepening of wallet share in existing clients through sector specific insights.

Experience Required 10-15 Years of relevant experience

Skills Required

In depth knowledge of Organized Retail sector, various business models, industry trends.

Clear understanding of the industry's entire eco system so as to provide support in credit appraisal process and product development

Basic knowledge/ understanding of banking products so as to provide effective proposals and pitches

Quick learner, ability to understand Banks revenue streams & consequently Build knowledge of all the products being offered to customers

Excellent communication, networking and relationship building skills

Must have the experience of leading a team of experienced professionals.

Job Description Business Development: Acquisition of New-to-Bank relationships, deepening of wallet share in existing clients through sector specific insights. Tapping all core companies in the sector including important players in the supply chain and increase cross-sell across the entire value chain

Product Development: Work closely with product groups and develop innovative products reflecting specific requirements of the sector

Brand management: Maintain association with industry bodies through regular interactions, participation in conferences/events/seminars. Represent YBL for all interactions/ activities related to the sector and contribute towards strengthening YBL Brand as Knowledge Bank in this sector.

Create institutional expertise in the sector as the Knowledge Banking Head.

Strengthening sectoral understanding / knowledge in the bank and ensure knowledge dissemination by way of regular knowledge reports/ newsletters. Tracking market trends / sector updates to assist RMs catering to Organized Retail clients.

Effective collaboration across several units (Corporate / Product / Branch) for business development

Lead a team of executives working on the same sector and effectively work together to accelerate knowledge driven business development in the bank
