Desired Candidate Profile:  - Full time MBA + Engineering  - Minimum 10 years of experience in Warehouse Operations, Logistics and Supply Chain Management role with a mid-large scale warehouse  Industry Preference: Retail / eCommerce, FMCG, Manufacturing  - Techno-Operational manager with knowledge of SQL, ERP and data mining & analytics  - Result oriented leader with strict control over manpower management & operational quality to ensure highest level of customer satisfaction  - Very Strong in technology  - Experience in managing large workforce  - Experience in quality centre environment  - Experience in manufacturing customization  - Demonstrated record of high quality operation setup using technology  - Brutal & Obsessive about customer satisfaction  Good to Have:  - Preferably from Defense services background  - Problem sensitivity with ability to perform in a dynamic environment Knowledge of applicable regulations, health and safety, security, transportation principles and methods change management principles and methods  - Must have extensive knowledge on SQL.  Responsibilities:  - Operations Head would be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, managing, evaluating the warehouse including the identification of opportunities for warehousing operations improvements and implementing the same.  - Achieving warehouse operations objectives by contributing warehouse operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits and identifying trends  - Developing Key Performance Indicators to measure the effectiveness of the warehouse operations  - Preparing or directing the preparation of correspondence, reports, statistics in regards to warehouse operations  - Meeting the warehouse operations financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling the expenditures; analyzing the variances; initiating the corrective actions  - Directing and controlling corporate governance and regulatory compliance procedures within the warehouse operations department  - Develops warehouse design by planning layout, product flow, and product handling systems; evaluating and recommending new equipment  - Developing a warehouse operations system by determining product handling and storage requirements; developing, implementing, enforcing, and evaluating policies and procedures; developing processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and dispatching of the products  - Maintaining safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations  - Securing the property by developing protection and access policies and procedures; coordinating patrols with security department  - Interviewing, selecting, coaching, training, managing, and appraising the performance of warehouse and supervisory personnel  - Solving the problems and addressing the staff challenges  - Confer with department supervisors to coordinate warehouse activities, such as production, sales, records control, and purchasing   - Reviewing contracts, invoices, work orders etc. to estimate peak delivery periods and to issue work assignments accordingly
