Operations Head- Manager-Sr. Manager-Requirement- 03

Location- Barkhera near Pilibhit

a.Desired qualification and experience level

I.Graduate Engineer with min. 10 yrs of experience in operations of power plant of min.30 MW Capacity with CFBC boiler operation.

II.Diploma holders with 13+ Years of Experience may also apply.

III.BOE / NPTI Candidates will be preferred.

IV.Knowledge of SAP.

b.Scope of job /Job Purpose

Responsible for plant operations as per load demand in safe, efficient manner and coordination with all departments.

c.Key responsibilities

I.Ensure efficient, cost effective, safe and reliable operation of plant.

II.Oversee and supervise the activity of all three shifts and provide decision support to shift in charges.

III.Ensure dry ash disposal and compliance as per statutory requirements

IV.Monitor all critical parameters related to boiler & turbine with all safety measures.

V.Analysis of tripping allowances

VI.Prepare action plan for improve heat rate & reduce auxiliary power consumption.

VII.Responsible for performance evaluation of BTG & BOP.

VIII.To monitor cold, hot start ups & synchronization with grid.

d.Functional competence requirement

I.Knowledge of the entire generation process from fuel management to grid management

II.Knowledge and understanding of tariff norms, tariff structure, grid code and commercial aspects of power sales

III.Knowledge of safety, environment, OHSAS and other statutory norms.

IV.Knowledge of maintenance, contract system, material issue and receiving procedure.

V.Knowledge of key machine performance characteristic and ability to identify impeding problems and take preventive measures.
