Position : Head-Operations.   - A senior management position with the full responsibility of business development, planning, management and control of operations including accountability for revenue, cost, and profitability.  Location: Bangalore  Company: Established player in the electrical equipment/machinery manufacturing industry   Education: MBA with 15 + years of experience in manufacturing / general management in engineering/capital goods industry. Candidates with an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering preferred.   Role Description :  - Oversee operations of manufacturing units of the company and be accountable for production and quality/cost/delivery parameters. This will include full-fledged responsibility of the elements of manufacturing - vendors, inventor, manufacturing process, delivery schedule, logistics, and service.   - Spearhead efforts of business development units to build a strong customer base, formulate business development strategy and sales plan. Work closely with design and marketing teams for responding to customer inquiries / RFPs etc. Interact regularly with key customers and build strong commercial relationships for the future.  - Develop a strategic plan for business units, set budgets for each unit and drive teams towards achieving budgets. Review unit-wise performance in a structured fashion and make interventions as and when necessary  - Be a change agent and drive organization towards a culture of continuous improvement and productivity.
