Head of Department - Production/Planning/Control - Yarn Manufacturing (8-15 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- To ensure capacity planning of resources so as to meet orders on time

- To plan for the replenishment order before the final order is dispatched so as to confirm the availability of trims and avoid planning additional quantity which leads to inactive generation

- To monitor actions of subordinates on standard Vs actual basis.

- To monitor inactive packing of products

- To ensure monitoring the plan percentage and discuss for reducing or increasing the plan percentage

- To monitor inventory level as per business plan

- To monitor overall inventory stock of ageing as well as non moving goods

- To deal with marketing for the issues related with sampling and merchandising activities

- To co-ordinate with production head of plant for all dispatch related plans

- To provide production status to marketing on as per customer requirement

- To ensure order processing on time & proper entry of inward material and manpower utilization, in order to attain targeted OTIF

- To ensure planning of container stuffing to avoid error, maximum capacity utilization of container, submit documents on time to concern department

- To ensure proper utilization of spaces, make a system for error free work & minimize the time of material handling

- Ensure effective communication that cascade down the line and keeps the system transparent & impartial

- Ensure effective communication for executing the orders within the stipulated lead time as committed to marketing

- Ensure not only presence of a next in line but also 2nd & 3rd line managers so as to give consistency & smooth functioning of the department.

- To provide training and awareness for adherence of SOPs & also counsel staff members to maintain their high level of performance

- To motivate and inspire people so as to help staff to overcome political, bureaucratic, and resource barriers in performing their day to day activities.
