About Our Client

Our client is a recognized brand in the energy and natural resources industry. They're currently looking at strengthening and scaling up operations in India and hence are looking for a Head of procurement and commercials who can assist them in this process.

Job Description:

Reporting Directly into the Head of Supply Chain, your key responsibilities will include:

- Managing high annual spend

- Sourcing commodities from local and global vendors

- Managing Vendor identification, selection and engagement

- Managing expectations of Internal and External Stakeholders in terms of Timelines, budgets etc.

- Optimizing procurement based savings without compromising on quality

- Ensuring process compliance at all times

- Reducing lead time of existing processes

The Successful Applicant:

You will be an engineer with around 12+ years of work experience in the Energy/EPC/Construction sector/Heavy Industries sector. You should have handled large spends, while liaising with vendors on a global scale. You should be thorough with supply chain best practices and be ready to work outside your preset mandates. Moreover, you'd be an initiator, who brings forth excellent team management, communication and interpersonal skills.
