Job Description for Head of Mobility Practice

Responsibilities:

- Will be responsible for heading the Mobility Practice as well as lead the comprehensive development & enhancement of the Mobility Practice

- Will be responsible for development and delivery of all Mobility projects under Mobility Practice

- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships and cross-team collaboration for continuous engagement with lines-of-businesses as well as excellence in practice development

- Lead Mobility practice to solution and develop mobility products, platforms, applications and solutions across healthcare payer, provider, public health, pharmacy and life science businesses

- Will be responsible for maintaining strong financial position for the Mobility practice in terms of revenues, costs, margins and visibility of project pipelines over multiple quarters

- Review and assess emerging technologies & concepts in Mobile & adjacent space for applicability to product & services offerings as well as provide appropriate PoVs with due research & analysis

- Expand & support commercialization efforts for Optum Global Solutions from Mobility Practice

Primary Qualifications:

Mobility Practice Management

- Engineering Graduate with 15+ years of product / application development experience out of which 5+ years should be in Mobility

- Comprehensive experience in running the Mobility Practice as Center of Excellence as well as niche development & delivery organization

- In depth knowledge and understanding of the mobility technology market, competition & market trends in IT

- Complete understanding of architecture, design, development, delivery and implementation of mobile based products / applications

- Strong and rich hands on experience on native Android, iOS, Windows Mobile as well as hybrid and web apps and HTML5 / JS technologies / platforms

- Complete end-to-end knowledge for mobile ecosystem from hardware / firmware, operating systems, applications and middleware

- Should have the ability to collaborate with business development during bid / proposal phase to fully qualify opportunity and deliver accurate proposals

- Should have experience to UX design and mobile responsive UI

Project and Delivery Management

- Must have strong expertise in Project management, Delivery management & Practice management

- Should be adept at Practice Governance: Generate Revenue & Gross Margins, Improve revenue productivity and utilization, Estimation and project management techniques

- Facilitate a consistent customer experience from the sales through implementation and to steady state maintenance

- Develop and nurture a deep expertise and alliance with potential and existing industry partners

- Experience in handling large span of control, engineers and mangers

- Deep expertise in agile development and delivery

- Must have healthcare domain expertise in Payer and Provider

- Should be able to connect enterprise mobility, cloud and big data analytics to bring value to health care domain

Secondary Qualifications

- Should have good understanding of COTS products and solutions available in the market in the space of mobility

- Should be a cross-function team collaborator

- Should be highly self-driven individual, should be able to articulate and communicate effective with a track record for brilliant achievements

- Able to manage new business / product initiatives from conceptualization to market rollout

- Work with internal stakeholders and/or business partners to obtain requirements on new services
