Head- eCommerce Merchandising

Responsibilities;

- You have 5 to 7 years of hands-on ecommerce Merchandising experience from a successful,well-known online retail business

- You are comfortable managing across functions (marketing, operations etc) and hierarchical levels to ensure execution of the strategy

- You drive and articulate the ecommerce merchandising vision for the business

- You know how to manage the levers of AOV, conversion and basket size to achieve goals for sales and margin

- You can leverage all digital marketing elements including email, SEM and SEO to maximize sales and margin

- You have hands-on experience leading, mentoring and growing ecommerce Merchandising teams

- You take accountability and ownership over the P&L

- You're great at financial analysis, KPI-driven and have a track record of successfully driving online sales

- You're also in charge of managing what products should be addressed online - you're able to reject certain products if they don't match the criteria for online product selection

- You're adept at Product research and can identify the hottest products and the poor performing items and take the appropriate action

- You have expertise with trend-determining tools and technologies

- You're experienced with maintaining and evolving a Merchandising calendar that maps seasonal product hits by business and key events - to better plan Merchandising, Product and Promotion strategies and ensure they are aligned to the offline business strategy

- You're comfortable leading and managing the inventory controlling and replenishment processes

- You're excellent at reporting, sharing and presenting the Merchandising KPIs with key stakeholders at the right times

- You keep up with the latest trends in the eCommerce merchandising space

- You are as much of a doer as you are a leader

- You are an excellent communicator, facilitator and collaborator

- You are comfortable dealing with tight deadlines and multiple teams
