Head - Medical Coding Operations - Healthcare BPO (15-25 yrs)

Our client is a large Healthcare BPO with about 6000+ employees across domestic and international locations.

The incumbent must be willing to work in shifts.

Key Responsibilities : 


- Head the Medical Coding practice for the organization


- Communicate with clients and other stakeholders and to solicit input to improve the program

- Identifying and driving organizational and cultural changes needed to adapt strategically to changing market demands, technology, and internal initiatives, catalyzing new approaches to improve results by transforming organizational culture, systems, or products/services.

- Work in closely with the sales team and support on Coding Due Diligence and process support.

- Handling Coding transition and responsible for delivery management of various clients from US.

- Participates in the hiring process and educational planning for coding staff.

- Provides consultation, leadership, and expertise to internal management in the planning, implementation, and delivery of coding education.

- Monitor cash flow projections and report actual cash flow and variance to Management on a regular basis (monthly/bimonthly)

- Identify and evaluate the risks associated with program activities and take appropriate action to control the risks

Desired Profile :

- At least 15 years of work experience majorly in Medical Coding business with a BPO.

- Extremely knowledgeable about Medical Coding guidelines and Coding Techniques (ICD-9 & 10, CPT).

- Also, must have strong knowledge of Anatomy & Physiology, Advanced Medical Terminology, Psychology and Pharmacology.

- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and should have handled large coding teams.

- Experience in In-Patient and Out Patient coding along with Coding certifications.
