Position Title : Marketing Head - Sunglasses  Level : L8  Function / Domain : Marketing   Reporting To : Business Head - Sunglasses  Location : Corporate office, Bangalore   Criticality of the role to the business - Currently, in the Eyewear business, Sunglass category contributes to over 30% in Value and 50% in Volume.  - Drive and build the sunglasses category with 3 in-house brands - Sunglasses, Dash sunglasses (kid's brand) and, India's No.1 sunglass brand.   - Brand Strategy and initiatives for building Sunglasses as an aspirational brand  Major Deliverables :  - Understand the sunglass consumer across consumer segments for all 3 brands to devise suitable strategies.  - Crafting and leading all marketing and brand initiatives to acquire and retain customers, enhance usage, build loyalty.  - Demonstrate deep understanding of competition; global and local trends in the category.  - Lead sunglasses fashion in India with the portfolio of brands.  - Create, manage and own the 12 month marketing calendar.  - Drive brand health scores as per metrics for each brand.  - Product Portfolio management of Sunglasses comprising of over 300 SKUs and Sunglasses comprising of over 150 SKUs across price bands and style spaces.   - Conceptualize and drive the product launch calendar as per requirements of different channels namely trade, e-commerce and retails channels.  Responsibilities   Marketing :   - Conceptualize and plan impactful and innovative advertising campaigns to drive sales and aspiration for the brand  - Creation of 360 degree campaigns across all marketing media - TV, Print, Digital, Press, Outdoor etc.  - Own and drive brand metrics thereby ensuring brand salience & imagery scores are as per targets  - Own & drive communication across all digital platforms - Website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Blog  Product Management :   - Develop innovative and differentiated new products as per global eyewear trends to lead the category in the Indian Market  - By working closely with designers and sourcing to lead fashion and stay competitive on price.  - Implement a successful pricing & promotion strategy to ensure that top and bottom line targets are met  - Launch new products to maintain an optimal range and choice across price bands / customer segments / store types  Category and Brand health :   - Enhance each business segment and define plans to ensure top of mind and preference for Sunglasses and Sunglasses among the target groups  Pricing :   - Formulation of a profitable pricing strategy ensuring a - Value For Money- offering to the customer   Market Research :   - Spearhead consumer behavior, competitor mapping and market understanding through research & market visits and ensure products are in line with the trends  Key Stakeholders Internal :  - Design Team, Brand team, Supply Chain, Merchandizing, Sales team, Sourcing, Quality etc.   External :  - Advertising agency, PR agency, Media agency, Sourcing vendors based in China  Desirable Profile : Management Graduate with a specialization in Marketing preferably from a premier institute  - High Strategic capability  - Approx. 10-12 years of relevant work experience  - From a Lifestyle/ FMCG Category domain  Essential Competencies :  - Strong analytical skills   - An eye for aesthetics   - Open to travel (Domestic/ International )   - Team Player   - Dealing with Ambiguity  - Collaboration  - Out of box thinking
