Position : Head - Marketing (Retail Hypermarket & Supermarket Chain - UAE)
Role :
- Marketing and Promotion of the store chain in the UAE
- Prepare and execute annual marketing and promotion calendar
- Cost-benefit and Viability analysis for potential shopper segments
- Promotion campaigns for existing and potential shopper segments
- Sales Planning and evaluation using Retail Intelligence
- Achieve sales targets by driving footfall and consumer spend
- Develop marketing strategies to build consumer preferences & drive volumes
- Conduct joint marketing activities across categories with various brands
- Drive consumer engagement through brand activations, VM and in-store branding
- Ambiance improvement through evaluation of design parameters (layout, focal points, fixtures, signages, flooring, store elevation, etc)
- Ensure effective market presence, in-store visibility & retail productivity
- Product Mix Planning with the help of Customer Research and Analytics tools
- Provide inputs on new store launches, etc.
- Work on strategy for Private Labels
- Strategize ATL & BTL activities
- Develop, upgrade and redesign websites and other marketing communication material
- Adapt Industry best practices and constantly improve processes
Requirements :
- MBA (Marketing) with 8-15 yrs of experience
- Should have experience in handling marketing in the Retail Industry
- Knowledge and experience in Marketing and Promotion, shopper promotion campaigns, merchandising, loyalty programs, customer research and analytics, etc.
- Should be comfortable in working in an unstructured set up
