Looking for a Head Marketing

Must Haves :

Years of experience : 6-15 years

- Tier 1 Institute (IIMs, MICA, N.M.I.M.S., J.B.I.M.S, FMS, SP JAIN, MDI, XLRI) with consumer marketing experience

Job responsibilities :

- The Chief Marketing Officer reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and is primarily in charge of conducting a company's marketing strategy.

- The basic responsibilities range from marketing communication, market research, distribution channel management, to product development, sales management and pricing.

- Lead a small, highly-skilled marketing team to drive 100+% ROI campaigns.

- To connect the company with its customers, helping it to become a customer centric organization.

- Elaborating the marketing strategies and implementing them by constantly communicating with other departments.

- He or she leads teams of experts in market research and market communication (advertising and promotion), makes suggestions and offers solutions to improve a company's presence on the market.

- Responsible for creating innovative marketing strategies that will build our brand, leading to increased awareness, fundraising revenue, relevance and respect among our target audience.

- Possessing tremendous communication and leadership skills, with proven success in traditional and innovative campaigns across the broad spectrum of today's marketing channels.

- We are looking for a ground-breaking leader with strategic, creative and financial acumen as well as a strong business intellect to take our organization to the next level.

- Ensure thorough usage of analytics and maintain a data-driven approach to marketing.

- Develop and manage the Company's entire marketing budget.

- Strategic planning including corporate positioning market and competitive analysis, customer segment selection and penetration plans, and related product positioning.

- Oversee marketing communications including branding, public relations, advertising, white papers, trade shows, seminars and events collateral materials, analyst and market research management, and website design and content either directly or on an outsourced basis.

- Develop and track metrics and success criteria for all marketing programs and activities.

- Oversee product marketing including product launch management, sales training, presentations, sales tools, competitive analysis and general sales support.

- Work with the CEO and the other executive team members to identify and develop strategic alliances, raise venture/public financing, communicate with BoD members, and close/grow major customer accounts.

- Work closely with other departments to develop and manage channel and partner strategies and programs.

- Define and direct marketing programs for demand creation, lead generation and interface with sales VP for lead tracking and management.

- Act as spokesperson for the company with press and analysts and at industry events.

Internal interaction relationships : Direct and constant interaction with the Buying, Sourcing, Merchandising and Technology teams for consistent brand execution. Active engagement in several Cross-functional teams that lead innovation, brand identity and service delivery. As part of the leadership team, will provide business inputs to meet organization objectives.

External interaction relationships : Regular interaction with advertising / market research agencies, key opinion leaders / influencers and trade associations.

Skills Required :

- Devising strategies to drive online traffic to the company website.

- Tracking conversion rates and making improvements to the website.

- Developing and managing digital marketing campaigns

- Utilizing a range of techniques including paid search, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and PPC.

- Overseeing the social media strategy for the company.

- Experience in promoting company's mobile app would be preferred.
