Brand Building  - Ensure that the brand building strategies/exercise is implemented in all the Outlets and for all Business in Kingdom  - Liaison with Media Agencies/Consultant to develop appropriate media plans in line with Business objectives  - Develop and execute Kingdom digital strategies for brands that is in line with brand positioning statements.   Promotions and Events  - Recommend outlet promotions in consultation with operations  - Ensure that all communication material required for the promotions is developed / designed and sent to the outlets/territories within the time frame specified  - Recommend events specific to brands   - Forecast along with operations on the increase in footfall during the promotions.  Business Reserach & Marketing  - Source, research and proactively contact new business prospects through the most appropriate channels and develop effective customer acquisition strategies for our brands  - You will proactively grow the pipeline of potential direct corporate clients, through ongoing market research and social networking.  - You will handle initial direct inquiries professionally, explaining the benefits of the Hospitality product and services.   - Understands the overall market in which they sell - competitors strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand, etc.   - Excels at proactive selling. Proactively identifies, qualifies, and solicits new business to achieve personal and Hospitality revenue goals. Focuses on accounts with larger potential sales revenue.   - Sets short and long term sales strategies, and evaluates the effectiveness of the current marketing and sales programs.  - Research the market on a continuous basis in order to determine where business comes from, how it is influenced, to identify the clients and how they arrive in the city etc.  - Organize and promote special projects such as food festivals, promotions, exhibitions, parties etc, in order to drive the footfall.  - Work with the PR agencies, to drive sales and as a result get our brands more exposure.   - Conducts market research and develops marketing plans for the sales department.  Social Media  - Manage Social Media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities including:  - Become an advocate for the Company in Social Media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.  - Develop a strategy and implement a proactive process for capturing customer online reviews.   - Monitor online ratings and respond accordingly.  - Monitor trends in Social Media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.  - Identify threats and opportunities in user generated content surrounding the business.   - Report notable threats appropriately to management.  - Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the Social Media campaigns.  - Monitor effective benchmarks (best practices) for measuring the impact of Social Media campaigns.  - Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.  Miscellaneous  - Oversee other outside agencies for order placements and printing needs, shopping bags, stickers, flyers, and other promotional material.  - Negotiate with vendors and contractors to coordinate media cost, placement, and scheduling.  - Create opportunities for Cross Promotion (i.e. Banks, Airline) and co-branding  - Plan with Public relation agencies for PR and media coverage in consultation with Business Heads and Group Corporate communication & PR  - Manage the loyalty program/privilege clubs of the business and recommend strategies to ensure increase in the perception level of the program  - Recommend strategies to Corporate Marketing to increase membership in the Loyalty Program and provide support in sending mailers/brochures to privilege club members (as required/agreed upon)  - Represent the Business/ Brand at media and marketing events  - Conduct market visits to assess implementation of marketing / branding guidelines and source competitive intelligence
