Head - Marketing

Core Marketing Management :

Responsibilities include driving excellence in all elements of the marketing mix: product, price, promotion, brand, market coverage and channel development.

Areas of focus include :

- Developing the Architecture & Positioning of the brand

- Drive customer insight research to understand the segments and what does being more relevant and important to these customers

- Building brand strength through a well developed plan, executing on key priorities, and setting clear metrics to monitor shifts in brand health over time

- Developing & supporting new programs to help improve the impact and brand salience with the TG

- Determining appropriate promotional tools and merchandising programs to best address key customer segments.

Communication Planning :

Develop and implement an integrated strategic communications plan to advance clients brand identity; broaden awareness of its programs and priorities :

- Increase the visibility of its programs across key stakeholder audiences

- Monitor and evaluate appropriate and timely dissemination of communication materials to target audiences, and understand evaluation of their impact

- Oversee and coordinate production of communication materials (e.g., films, video, audio-visual, etc.), to complement media packages for communicating messages for media, web, events, campaigns etc. Oversees the qualitative aspects of production, (e.g., quality control, translation, review of layouts and graphic design) across sector programmes.

- Develop and maintain close collaboration with print, broadcast and electronic media, as well as with groups and organizations whose support is essential for achieving communication objectives of the organization.

- Partner with the various communication partners and ensure outstanding and timely output.

Market Planning & Analytics :

Responsibilities include working with the broader marketing organization to increase expertise in customer, market, and competitive intelligence.

Areas of focus include :

- Creating methodologies for effectively gathering customer insights and driving a customer centric mindset throughout the organization.

- Driving marketing metrics and scorecard development to measure improvement in marketing performance over time with a special emphasis on brand health metrics.

- Implementing international market planning and analytics programs to assure standardization and a synergistic approach to market planning and analytics across the international marketing community.

- Leading the marketing planning process, tailoring the requirements to reflect the size and priority of particular businesses and park location.

- Recommending key approaches to gain market intelligence, prioritizing areas of focus, and sharing critical information across designated businesses.

Interactive Marketing (Digital) :

Responsibilities include driving the strategy for online marketing efforts and managing the website / digital media function within.

Key priorities will include :

- Working with the overall brand objectives, thereby translating it to a relevant, meaningful digital requirement.

- Transforming the online customer experience by implementing best-in-class practices in website development and interactive marketing.

- Building stronger customer connections and relationships via interactive tools and resources.

- Optimizing online positioning via global search and social media efforts.

Preferred Qualifications/Qualities :

- MBA (Marketing)

- 12-20 years of sales & marketing experience with minimum 5 years in handling a division or large region

Target Firms : Any Industry ( Entertainment / Retail / FMCG / Telecom )
