TITLE : Head - Manufacturing

Location : Gurgaon

REPORTING to: Managing Director

PAY GROUP : Best in Industry

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for all plant operations including Production, Quality, Maintenance, PPC, HR, cost control, budgeting etc. for plants at Rajasthan and Gujarat.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor's degree Engineering from a well known University

- Total work experience should be minimum 20 years out of which 8 to 10 years- experience of working at a Functional Head level and at least 2 years as plant Head in a Chemical company.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

- Good organizational, leadership, interpersonal and problem solving skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Mathematical/Analytical and proven problem solving skills

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Continue to focus on the efficiency and meeting the production standards/ output requirements every time.

- Lead the team and will be accountable for the operational goals & objectives.

- Responsible for the manpower selection and the complete utilization of their skills & knowledge.

- Responsible to maintain the simplicity and flexibility in the process.

- Responsible to design effective material flow to maintain the min. inventory levels & to improve the working capital

- Responsible to eliminate all kind of waste on the shop floor by using techniques like VSM,JIT, 5S, etc.

- Prepare Corrective Action Reports for Customers and internal concerns as may be required.

- Responsible for Health & safety, statutory compliance related to plant

- Review of TPM initiative and ISO 9000 activities.

- Budgeting activities of the plant

- Liason with external agencies like pollution, excise, sales tax, government authorities for water, electricity etc.

- Optimum utilization of Man, Machine, Material.

- Handling HR / IR issues and maintaining cordial relationship.

- Cost control and establishing proper systems, processes and control mechanism.

- Maintaining motivation, engagement and morale of team members.
