Manufacturing Head (Nasik)

The position is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating the available resources, optimally; to execute the plan to meet the customer and business requirements. It also includes developing and aligning the workforce towards the achievement of the organizations goals.

Responsibility Areas :

- Overall responsible for the manufacturing and to control PPC, Production, Tooling, Quality & Maintenance functions. Analyzing the monthly production plan at micro level in the light of the available resources and ability to meet the delivery schedule, production constraints and internal targets and giving feed back to PPC as and when required.

- Improve Production Planning & its execution. Optimize the resources to complete planned production in minimum possible days in the month.

- Improvement in Quality, Rejection control through operators involvement, Improvement in Machines' effectiveness and overall quality consciousness in the team throughout the plant.

- Implementation of Productivity norms and shop floor discipline as per Long Term Settlement.

- Improvement in Quality & Productivity through continuous engagement with people, seeking their involvement through capturing their concerns and aligning the management team to resolve the same.

- Improve the effectiveness of Shift supervisors through knowledge & efficiency improvement. Continuously groom them in synergy with HR to be strong in driving change on the shop floor.

- Machine Maintenance needs extraordinary efforts. Effective planning and execution of planned machine maintenance.

- "5S" inside the Plant. Dedicated efforts required to stop oil and all types of leakages. Time bound plan to make the shop floor dry and oil free.

- Bring in a Cultural Change from slackness, casual attitude to a careful and responsible attitude promoting Suggestions, innovation and continuous change towards betterment.
