Client Details
Our client is a global MNC in automobile sector with a market leading share. Their subsidiary in India is the largest passenger car maker which has 2 plants with a combined capacity to make more than 1.5 million vehicles in a year. They want to set up a plant in Mumbai for automotive parts and this need a Manufacturing head to manage the production process end to end
Job Description
Reporting into the COO and managing a team of 17 supervisors, you will be responsible for:
- Setting up the production process for the automotive parts and establishing the SOPs in order to meet the KPIs on quality, cost, delivery and service.
- Managing the production/assembly process end to end and ensuing the quality compliance
- Stakeholder Management, Health and Safety management and Inventory Management
- Production Planning and Project Management
- Being the overall incharge of the plant and all the production/maintenance/regulatory requirements associated with it.
Profile
Ideally you are a Mechanical Engineer ( MBA preferred) with 15+ years of experience in Production/Manufacturing in Automobile/Automotive Sector, preferably in a MNC environment and you have been managing production operations at a plant and have demonstrated a track record of success in your last roles. You should have strong leadership and team management skills and are ready to take the next challenging opportunity in your career.
