Head/Manager - Sales/Business Development - Auto Components (8-18 yrs)

The Company :

A leading Auto component and precision engineering products company HQ in South India with plants and sales offices in multiple locations across the globe.

The Role :

Responsible for top line and bottom line for the specific region through Client Acquisition and Customer Relationship Management.

Indicative Deliverables :

- Sales planning and Sales road map for the region in line with Company goals.

- Building the sales pipeline and conversions to meet the sales goals. Focus on large opportunities, shaping end-to-end value proposition

- Client Acquisition and Client Relationship Management - closing sales by building a rapport with potential accounts, explaining existing and new capabilities, preparing customized proposals and constantly engaging with them.

- Pricing & Commercials based on customer segments.

- Coordinate with the product teams, planning, production, and shipment teams to ensure timely order fulfillment

- Responsible for the sales process and necessary compliance for the region.

- Responsible for leading the sales team, once a full fledged team is formed.

- Responsible for ongoing capacity building for the sales function.

The person for the role :

- Full-time Engineering graduate in Mechanical / Instrumentation / Auto preferably with a Management degree in Marketing / Sales.

- About 8 to 18 years of experience in Auto ancillary/auto component industry with at least the current/last 4 to 5 years working
experience in Americas.

- Good understanding of market dynamics, competition, and connections in the US Auto ancillary market

- A self-starter comfortable with being hands individual to start with and then able to build a team based on the market growth.

- A candidate with experience working in Indian Auto ancillary market and later moved to the US preferred.

- Willingness to travel around NA

The CTC for the role :

- The budget for the role is around USD 130 K to 150 K per annum.
