Head - Logistics - Mfg (8-12 yrs)
Position: Head - Logistics (Leading MNC Manufacturing Co)
Role:
- This is a Pan-India Head of Logistics role
- Apply best practices for Logistics, Warehousing, and Despatch Planning and Distribution all over India
- Also manage all inward and outward material movement at factory locations
- Provide leadership in maintaining a safe, efficient and effective raw materials and finished-goods warehouse operation
- Optimise the cost effective balance between customer service and cost of shipments
- Ensure availability of transportation arrangements at all times and at lowest cost
- Finalise vendor/ 3rd party contracts, negotiation, review, renewal and termination
- Facilitating efficient distribution system and timely availability of products all throughout the country
- Consults with assigned clients to understand their distribution networks and determines the logistics resources required to support delivery of goods, safety. Negotiates with supply sources to meet technical requirements
Requirements:
- BTech + MBA/ Diploma in Logistics Management
- 8-12 years of experience in Logistics in a FMCG, Paints, Manufacturing Company preferably from an MNC
Location: Mumbai
