Description : To serve as a strategic advisor, offering sound and well-reasoned legal advice on various legal matters as part of the leadership team.

Client Details : Our client is a fully integrated and coverged telecom service provider.

Job Description :

- Accountable for all Legal aspects of Commercial function, HR Compliances, Litigation Management and Contract Management of the company.

- Pro actively ensure Statutory & Legal compliance in company's documentation, transactions and action to strategically liaise and successfully resolve all ongoing legal cases.

- To ensure and protect the legal interest of the organizations by ensuring proper management of litigation, minimizing risk involved in Contracts executed by the Organization.

- Protect the IPR of the company and to address the management on all major legal Issues.

- Managing and advising the leadership on legal and commercial risks associated with transactions, their potential impact and suggested mitigating actions.

- Interact with Sr. Counsel's and legal fraternity in general and in particular dealing in Telecom / DTH & Broadcasting domains.

- Update the management on evolving judicial trends and legislative proposals, policy changes, amendments in laws and important judgments passed by various Courts / Forums and the appraisal of the impact thereof

- Support HR function in HR compliance, HR litigations, drafting & vetting of Contracts, statutory compliances and legal obligations as per laws of the land, so as to protect the interest of the Company against any litigation exposure.

- Overall ownership of various Agreements and Contracts pertaining to the company and its subsidiary companies

Profile

- 15- 20 years of relevant work experience of which at least 7 to 8 years should have been in leadership role.

- Sound understanding of business practices, and reputational risk.

- Strong Leadership & team player qualities, excellent interpersonal skills, networking skills in the judicial community.
