Head - Legal - Telecom

We are a leading Executive Search firm catering to various domains. We are looking for a suitable candidate for the following role.

Role : Head Legal

Level : Vice President

Organization : A leading organization into Telecom space

Base Location : Mumbai

Role Domain : National Role with a reporting of around 20 people.

Reporting to : President - Legal & Secretarial

Key Responsibilities :

- Ensure adequate policies and process in place for Legal periodical review and improvement

- Management of litigation adopting cost efficient methods. Effective prosecution /defense and settlement of cases.

- Decision support for Legal Notices (Civil, Consumer, Criminal, Misc), prevention of litigation; In-house legal documentation, Grievance Resolution.

- Management of Legal Compliance Index.

- Adherence to TAT for Legal, Contractual, Business, Service, Funding & Securitization documentation, approval of marketing schemes and other legal clearances

- Support for recovery of bad debts by exploring and adopting various ADR opportunities

Desired Functional Competencies :

- Sound knowledge of LAW and telecom regulation

- Should be able to formulate strategies to deal with litigation.

- Internal personal skills to deal with Senior Councils and law firms

- Understanding of court process / procedures

- Good drafting skills
