Job description –
Overall responsibility for the L&OD function for 3M India. To provide a framework for change management within 3M that reinforces and augments 3M's human resource principles by assessing current organizational issues and developing effective initiatives aligned with 3M's business goals.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
1. Addresses organizational development needs by developing initiatives or processes that have potential short and/or long-term impact on the employees and the future strategic direction of 3M. Designs and implements Learning and OD initiatives based on 3M India strategic direction and issues. Provides consulting services to management through insight into the training and/or human resource implications of proposed major changes while implementation of new ideas.
2. Designs , facilitates and/or leads supervisory or leadership training courses or seminars to meet established objectives. Needs to be able to respond quickly to difficult questions, situations or issues that may occur during a training course or seminar. Develops and delivers presentations to special groups. Conducts surveys and analyses feedback for VOC and improvement actions.
3. Coaches and develops internal faculty resources and provides feedback.
