Head - Learning & Development/Talent Management (9-15 yrs)

Strategy and design:

- Drawing on both regional and LoB experience, input into the development of a globally consistent framework and toolkit across the following activities:

- Leadership development and assessment (incl. developing leadership through CSR initiatives), Managing the Talent process along with succession planning

- Experience in designing Talent, Learning, and performance management strategy.

- Provide strategic leadership for the L&D and talent management team in the region, including setting strategy and overseeing day-to-day management responsibilities

- Be accountable for the interpretation and design of all Talent management tools, L&D products, tools and processes etc. in the region, ensuring consistency through an alignment to group ways of working and with localizations by exception only

Delivery and compliance:

- Act as the policy / process owner and lead the delivery of regional Talent, performance and L&D content and programs - ensuring regulatory and statutory compliance

- Manage the regional Learning & Development (L&D) teams in the local delivery of global policies, processes, tools, programs etc. to ensure both country and LoB needs are met

- Oversee the [Region / LoB] delivery of L&D services and ensure alignment to common ways of working, encouraging synergy across the CoE

- Act as the regional SME and escalation point for expert advice on customer queries or requests (incl. policy exceptions)

- Own all internal and external L&D/ Talent/Performance benchmarking at a regional level

- Own learning systems, with regards to process and content requirements and work closely with HR Operations / PT to ensure delivery against these

- Manage the relationship with regional L&D vendors and provide vendor contract management, tracking compliance with security, SLAs, quality and cost.

- Provides support to HRBPs by coaching and supporting, and asking the right questions as they go through the talent and performance and L&D process.

Performance & Continuous Improvement

- Deliver on agreed KPIs and budget (as per Global Head of Talent and Country Head HR) and be accountable for service efficiency and quality in their specialist area

- Set strategic direction for L&D/talent/performance analytics work, drawing out trends and meaningful insights based on data, that support business outcomes

- Monitor solutions, policies, vendors and employee feedback to drive continuous improvement across all for L&D/talent/performance services

- Keep appraised of leading practices, monitor and evaluate future legislation and market trends and consider innovative solutions, to best serve the business

- Identify opportunities for and manage the transition of transactional support activities to HR Operations

Core capabilities:

- Deep functional/technical expertise in all Learning and Development, Talent management, Sucession planning and performance management

- Experience working across multiple geographies and with global teams

- Able to engage key stakeholders, build support and influence outcomes to drive the talent agenda

- Strong understanding of industry best practice and market trends

- Demonstrate strong leadership and team management skills and have the potential to inspire and motivate people at all levels.

- Experience of developing and implementing learning and talent strategy
