Head - Learning & Development (9-13 yrs)

Job Description :

- Identify the current needs of people, roles and business. Create the framework which addresses these needs. Ensure on-time delivery while creating a world class learning experience. Measure effectiveness of the programs and improve them continuously

- Identify the critical positions based on current and future business needs. Work on succession planning and grooming of identified people. Bring in external perspective, thoughts and practices which ensure future talent pipeline is better equipped to handle unforeseen challenges

- Support the organic and inorganic growth plans of the Company by focusing on leadership development in various businesses, roles and levels

- Create best in class programs and practices which align with the Company's overall positioning as a thought leader in its space

- Work with executive leadership to design a cohesive and comprehensive learning strategy for the Company - short term, medium term and long term

- Provide specialised consultation to Business Heads and Business HR to design and deliver tailored culture change and talent development interventions

- Create the conceptual foundation for training and development programmes and follow this through to successful management and delivery

- Network with and recommend the best in class trainers/faculty for on-going and future programs

- Be the face of the Learning function to the larger industry and HR community

Other important attributes :

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Excellent project management, people management and planning skills

- Pro-active, high on energy, self-motivated, very high excellence orientation, eye for detail

- Ability to engage with senior leadership and business managers

- Persistent but high on patience

Experience : 8-13 years of experience as a Learning professional with at least 8 years with Tier 1 organisation which are known for their Learning practices and processes

Qualification : MBA (full time), preferably from a Tier 1 college

Compensation : Best in the industry
