The position comprises the following:  Sourcing Policy Development:  - Establish and implement the organizational sourcing policy to provide the organizational structures, processes and mechanisms needed to manage, assess and improve the company’s sourcing initiatives and support the sourcing strategy  - Establish and implement procedures to manage service providers. This includes tracking the performance of service providers  - Establish and implement procedures to manage internal stakeholders. This is to ensure the sourced services meet internal needs and respond to internal clients’ changing demands  - Establish and maintain documented sourcing processes for use across the company.   - Establish and implement procedures to manage issues and their resolution.   Relationship Management;  - Establish and implement procedures to manage interactions / relationships with service providers  - Establish and Implement procedures to manage internal client relationship (e.g. matching demand or requirements from internal clients with the right service providers)   Value Management:  - Establish and implement procedures to develop and validate the business case for sourcing  - Create and drive sourcing strategies resulting in cost savings.  - Establish and implement procedures to review sourcing performance, analyze the business value and impact of sourcing performance  - Track cost savings and cost avoidances for periodic management reporting  - Drive negotiations with strategic suppliers on pricing, terms and conditions  Change Management:  - Integrate with the global services procurement team and establish and implement communications strategies and plans to support the organization’s sourcing actions.   Knowledge Management:  - Utilize a knowledge system to identify, control and disseminate sourcing information  - Analyze and use information about the service provider market  Risk Management:  - Establish and implement procedures to manage risks across sourced services and service providers  - Establish and implement procedures to protect the intellectual property of the company  - Establish and implement procedures to meet security and privacy requirements  - Establish and implement procedures to comply with applicable internal policies or standards and statutory and regulatory requirements  - Establish and implement procedures to ensure business continuity of sourced services   - Co-ordinate with compliance and legal teams to ensure statutory requirements during the sourcing / contracting process are complied with  Sourcing planning:  - Establish and implement plans for managing the sourcing projects including contract governance   - Establish and implement procedures to select service providers  - Define the evaluation criteria to be used in selecting service providers  - Prepare requirements to communicate to prospective service providers according to documented procedures  - Define the formal service level agreements and performance measures for the services   Sourcing Provider Evaluation:  - Communicate requirements to prospective service providers according to documented selection procedures  - Evaluate potential service providers using documented criteria and selection procedures  - Select candidate service providers according to the documented selection procedures  Contract Governance:  - Define ‘must have’ or non-negotiable clauses in contracts in line with internal policies, standards and statutory requirements  - Establish and implement procedures to monitor and verify that service commitments are being met  - Establish and implement procedures for financial management of the sources services  - Participate in problem and incident monitoring and resolution  - Participate in change management activities  - Establish and implement procedures to manage modifications to services (Define the change control process)  - Establish and implement guidelines to collect and analyze stakeholder inputs and feedback  Previous Experience Requirements:  - Ideal to have somebody with a good awareness of the Indian IT/ITeS sector  - Prior experience of managing RFPs  - Prior experience of vendor evaluation and engagement  - Contract and SLA management.
