Head IT - Manufacturing - ERP (10-15 yrs)
Job Description:
Key Role Imperatives:
- Setting Direction for IT strategy
- Development, deployment and upgrade of Technology Tools for Application Development, Testing and Performance Enhancement
- Expand business strategy to identify process and technology enablers for effective business decision-making and appropriate technology innovation opportunities
- Control over CAPEX and OPEX for standardized solutions and achievement of annually defined OPEX and CAPEX targets
- Selection of business partners and vendors and development of strategic alliances, to ensure sustainability of systems
- Maximization of ROI from Organizations technology investments
- Evaluation of new technologies, development of fundamental technologies to provide a competitive advantage for the current and future business
- Talent spotting to prepare the ‘next’ generation of managers
Major Areas of Responsibilities will include:
- Discussion with Business Teams for requirement gathering - 30%
- Defining optimal solutions integrating with the existing ERP and extensions of ERP - 25%
- Overseeing the Projects and Business Benefits - 25%
- Implementing Solutions for Operational Excellence - 20%
Relevant Experience:
- Experience in handling the IT organization of a large/mid-size company or IT consulting organization with a team of technical and functional resources.
- Worked closely with business to define the organization IT requirements or participated in an ERP implementation project, by playing a critical role in defining the business processes
Technical Competencies:
- Sound Knowledge on ERP systems and the functional support requirements
- Team Management and Project Management experience.
- Knowledge on Programming, Operating Systems and Processes
Any additional/special requirements :
- Good technical knowledge & knowledge of business applications/processes is essential.
