Job Responsibilities :

- Responsible for leading, controlling and overseeing the development, management and maintenance of the Bank's IT infrastructure, so as to enable the continuous functionality of the business operations according to customer requests and banking standards.

IT Infrastructure and Services :

- Contribute to the development of IT strategy and ensure translation and alignment during the development and monitoring of departmental strategy including objectives, targets and initiatives

- Recommend improvements to IT policy and direct the implementation of procedures and controls covering all areas of IT Infrastructure activity so that all relevant procedural/ legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service to customers

- Prepare and recommend the IT Infrastructure & Service Delivery budget by preparing analysis and data related to specific elements as directed

- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the department to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and procedures

- Guide the analysis of IT infrastructure planning activities / initiatives in order to understand the current capabilities and limitations of the supporting IT infrastructure, while providing recommendations to build and maintain a scalable and agile IT infrastructure meeting operational and capacity requirements

- Ensure that all requests from customers and internal stakeholders for new systems and applications have been analysed and well understood within the department, so as to identify the requirements of the Bank regarding the infrastructure capabilities

- Lead the design and coordination of operations of all related IT infrastructure aspects (hardware, network, server, storage, telephony, and database management) in order to facilitate achievement of Bank operations customizing the same to each region's requirements

- Control the implementation of proper monitoring tools to achieve the required benchmarks and ensure the provision of support to all internal IT entities and Bank's business to facilitate achievement of effective IT operations

- Ensure the accurate implementation of department's projects, controlling the cost, the efficiency and time delivery of the projects

- Manage the Infrastructure & Service Delivery projects by reviewing and conducting feasibility studies to evaluate the commercial viability, the strategic fit and ROl of project proposals within the annual business plan

- Manage implementation of IT Infrastructure and plans, using well-established project management methodologies and tools in accord with established policies and procedures

- Provide timely response to end users requests for assistance and ensure the accurate and friendly response to these needs, in order to facilitate high level of customer service to end users

- Ensure periodic validation of service level approved and service level achieved from the tool deployed in the system, compute penalty against the deviation on achievement towards targeted service level

People :

- Ensure that the employees within the division maintain the highest standards of professional conduct, ethics, integrity, and control in execution of all their daily operations

- Drive a performance driven culture in the team by timely monitoring, review of performance parameters and feedback to the team members

- Take overall responsibility for identification of training needs and completion of mandatory training programs/certifications for self and reportees

- Mentor and coach subordinates to develop the team's capabilities and build a robust succession pipeline

- Ensure that the all the departments reporting to him/her are adequately staffed as per the manpower requirements

- Ensure high level of employee engagement and retention of key performers

Qualification : BBA/ BTech/BSc (Computer Science/ IT)
