Head International Business Development - Biotech startup  A well funded biotech startup which is working on cutting edge point of care diagnostic devices is seeking a senior professional for international business development, primarily in Asia and Middle East.  Key Responsibility Areas are :  - Appoint right channel partners in different countries to market the complete range of products.   - Building on the current customer base and expanding into new accounts & territories systematically.  - Registration of all products in regulated markets.  - Establish & ramp up a team of motivated sales managers & representatives or channel and alliance partners to improve market penetration.   - Compete effectively against larger players and build dominant market share in individual product categories.  - New product launches, workshop and conference to maintain and enhance the technology edge & leadership position.   - Market forecasting, identifying & formulating strategies to exploit business opportunities.  - Establish short term / long term budgets and designing business strategies for maximizing profit & revenue generation.  - Product registration and dossier preparation.  - Managing distributors in the region and bringing in new distributors if required.   - Working with the distributor's sales force periodically for generating sales.  - Assisting the distributor in establishing the brand in the region by providing product training and sales training periodically.  - Assisting the distributor in doing the marketing activities in the region, participation in conferences etc.   - Handling sales support executives and other support teams.   - Handling the queries from the market with the help of product, technical, customer service and marketing department.  - Ensure speedy resolution of queries and grievances, maintaining excellent relations with clients to generate revenues for additional business.  Ideal candidate shall be :  - A professional with minimum 10 years of experience with relevant experience in sales/BD of point of care devices in international markets  - MBAs shall be preferred
