Role : Head - Innovations and Brand Solutions  Introduction :  - We are looking for an innovative business leader to come into a revenue generation role that will create solutions for brands and integrate them into our publications, properties and platforms (IP). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of mass media and communication, brand identity and positioning, to be able to create integrated solutions for clients. This will role will require creative and analytical thinking, strong selling skills and being able to oversee the execution of brand solutions.  - This business vertical will be responsible for augmenting the Media Sales (Advertising Sales) team's efforts towards revenue growth. The brand solutions team will innovate integrations for clients that will generate revenue, while also fitting the brand parameters of our publications and properties.   - This role will be working closely with the Media Sales team, Brand Strategy team and Editorial teams of our publications.  - This position is based at our corporate head office in Bangalore and will report to the Head of Media Sales.  The Role :  - Interpret briefs from marketing departments, clients and agencies to understand the brand positioning, key marketing challenge, brand objective and resources available duration of activity, budgets, other support, etc.  - Drive ideation across all relevant businesses - Print, digital, on ground, variant editions, marquee properties, etc. through brainstorming sessions, along with Brand Strategy, Media Sales and Editorial teams.  - Create complete media solutions for brands, including roll-out plans, budgets, logistics, and secure approval for execution.  - Execute agreed plan through key stakeholders in all relevant modules.  - Analyse client product features with their competitors and come up with solutions. Make presentations to clients based on their needs to increase market penetration with help from Media Sales team in procurement of advertisements by coordinating with media buyers and planners.  - Grow and manage a team of creative, revenue-oriented brand professionals, who are keen to do fresh work in ATL/BTL media marketing.  - Coordinate with client teams (typically senior-level marketing and Media teams) to propose solutions that have a good fitment to brand and editorial guidelines of each product.  - Coordinate closely with with the event execution teams and agencies as well as supply chain/procurement teams to enable solutions keeping in mind logistical and technical abilties.  Desired Experience and Skills :  - 12-15 years relevant work experience in any industry, including 3-5 years in FMCG/liquor/telecom/media, primarily in a brand marketing role.  - MBA / Masters in marketing from any premier B-school.  - Could also have some years of Agency Planning or Consulting experience.  - Firm understanding of digital and social media marketing.  - Strong presentation and concept pitching skills.  - Data-oriented business leader, focused on delivering tangible results.  - Strong team player and manager of talent.
