Essential Job Functions

1. Compensation and benefits - help to set the compensation levels and benefit package across the organization to ensure we can attract and retain the best talent.

2. Performance management - lead formal annual objectives setting & performance review processes; and identifying & addressing people performance issues.

3. Talent Management - work closely with business leaders and HR leaders to assess talent needs, build talent pipelines, and develop recruitment strategies to attract top level talent.

4. Culture - help to build the company culture in line with our values

5. Facilities - manage the locations for our staff and how these need to evolve over time

6.HR partners - Manage the relationship with our external HR & payroll partner

7. Legal - manage and resolve any employee legal issues

8.On-boarding - conduct all new employee orientations and on-board new hires

Job Summary

1. Implements human resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, benefits, training and development, records management, succession planning, employee relations and retention, and AA/EEO compliance.

2. Liaise with other functional / departmental head so as to understand all necessary aspects and needs of HR development, and to ensure they are fully informed of HR objectives, purpose and achievements.

3. Plan for employee's performance appraisal; develop tools for appraisal, job evaluation and development.

4. Works with Vice President in establishing department budget. Maintains department budget variance analysis.
