Our client is one of the largest manufacturers of plasticware.  The purpose of this role is to support HR domain including policies and procedures in line with the organization's Strategic Plan. It is a key role in managing change and ensuring the achievement of the organization's strategic goals through effective people management practices.  Specific responsibilities are as follows :  - Define HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy  - Develop and monitor various HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.  - Research best practices to design organization policies  - Lead implementation and review of HR policies  - Prepare annual training & development plan and identify training needs across mid to senior level  - Develop compensation structure according to work culture and benchmark against industry standards  - Cohesively work with Business in planning and strategy development for the company.  - Job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals and consultation with line managers  - Provide an oversight of the organization's approach to job evaluation to maintain consistency and fairness. Assess appropriate methodologies for the implementation.  - Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues  - Develop effective employee relations processes and foster more inclusive trade union relationships.  - Handle Industrial relation matters and manage statutory compliance  - Incumbent will overview plant HR activities
